Job Summary: Solstice Women's Home
Schedule: Tues-Sat 3-11pm
Must have demonstrated experience and/or practical knowledge of addiction, mental health counseling, substance use treatment and developmentally appropriate intervention strategies. Clinicians should be proficient at providing individual, group and family counseling.
Job Responsibilities:
· Participate in clients’ intake process.
· Run daily groups under the guidance of the Clinical Director.
· Develop client treatment plans and goals in a timely fashion.
· Timely completion of all assessments, treatment planning development, signing of consent forms, and ongoing progress notes.
· Upkeep of client records and relaying client information and needs.
· Responsible for coordination and scheduling of individual client counseling sessions.
· Responsible for monitoring assigned caseload participation in activities/groups by checking in with other counselors, reading groups documentation notes, and checking in with your assigned clients.
· Facilitate transitional phase of program for clients, preparing for discharge.
· Clients specific case management responsibilities.
· Development and follow through with clients after care plan.
· Participation in client treatment meetings.
· Have knowledge and understanding of DPH regulations and Riverbend's Policy and Procedure manuals.
· Responsible for the immediate notification of safety/health/legal issues happening in the program (client or programmatic); includes the completion of an Internal or Critical Incident Report form.
· Facilitate Addiction treatment groups as assigned by the Clinical Director or designee, by using approved curriculum and specific content approved through SAMHSA, NIDA, EEC, BSAS, or other best practice standards identified by the Clinical Director, or Program Director.
· Participate in your performance evaluation and supervision with the Clinical Director.
· Other tasks as assigned by the Clinical Director or Program Director.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Educational requirements, one must possess one of the following:
· High School diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. At least a year of experience in the field preferred.
· Must become CPI, CPR/First Aid and MAP certified (training/certifications offered internally)
· Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to promote recovery.
· Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
· Must use company vehicles and potentially personal vehicles to transport clients.
· Strong verbal & written communication skills.
This position requires the successful completion of a CORI check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
