Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Color Scientist at Riverdale Global located in High Point, NC. As a Color Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research and experiments to develop and improve color formulations and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test new products, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide technical support to customers. Your day-to-day tasks will include analyzing and interpreting color data, conducting color matching experiments, and staying updated on industry trends and advancements in color science. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of color science principles and color measurement techniques
• Experience with color formulation, color matching, and color management
• Proficiency in scientific software and tools for color analysis and data interpretation
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in the plastics, coatings, or printing industry is a plus
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for colorants and pigments is a plus
