Position Summary: Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
Essential Job Functions:
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions
- Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions
- Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases
- Prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, revenue documents and other records, and reviews for accuracy
- Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures
- Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
- Collects appropriate data and prepares federal and state reports and tax returns
- Extracts general ledger information
- Compiles cost reports and revenue and balance sheets
- Reconciles report discrepancies and problems
- Codes data for input to the financial data processing system according to company procedures
- Reviews, balances, and interprets computer reports, and makes corrections
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and/or; three to five related experience preferably in the gaming industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of accounting software; database software, payroll systems, spreadsheet and word processing software
- Ability to proficiently operate a 10-key adding machine
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays and weekends
- Must be a team player
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to see; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Occasionally required to stand; walk and talk or hear
- Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor
