Essential Job Functions :

• Greets guests, determines seating location, walks guest to tables while maintaining positive guest interaction, and provides menus
• Ensures that all guests are treated in a prompt, professional and courteous manner
• Answers phone, utilizes reservation system, responds to guest inquiries, and takes reservations
• Performs table set-up, running side work and closing duties
• Keeps rotation sheet filled out, tracking server’s guests
• Assures that all guests are seated at clean, properly set up tables
• Helps servers and bussers when not seating guests
• Possess awareness of potential hazards, which could cause, but are not limited to, slipping, tripping, falling or burns
• Takes orders from guests and prepares orders when applicable
• Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession / consumption
• Monitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines
• Checks identification to ensure customers are using players cards issued to them and no one else
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• Must be 21 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One or more years of restaurant experience
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing

Working Conditions :

• Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk
• Must occasionally lift and lift to 25 pounds
• Frequently required to stoop, crouch, or kneel
• Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor
• Exposure to high noise level
