SummarySystem Administrators will be responsible for supporting a Corporate Datacenter and Disaster Data. Security, availability, and growth planning are the key areas of responsibility.
Experience/Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration preferred.
- 2-4 years experience in direct support of IT Technical Infrastructure components
- Microsoft, VMware, SQL, Citrix, Epic and/or RHEL certifications preferred
- PowerShell knowledge is preferred
- Day to day support of Active Directory - Create, manage and modify users, groups, computers, servers, permissions, GPOs, shared folders and other AD aspects.
- Day to day support of Exchange - Creating and Modifying mailboxes, distribution groups and calendars
- Perform general administration of servers (patching, upgrades & installs)
- Perform incident response and problem management
- Document processes and workflows
- Administering and Maintaining Data Center Systems, Operating Systems and Hardware.
- Monitoring System Performance.
- Assist IT, IS and Epic with troubleshooting issues.
- Research new technology and assist Systems and Data Center Manager in evaluating new technology.
- Perform maintenance and upgrades during off-hours and provide 24 X 7 on-call support.
