Riverside Recovery of Tampa, a premier and leading provider of treatment programs for adults struggling with chemical dependency and substance use disorders, is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian!
The Registered Dietitian will assess, advice and counsel clients on food and nutrition. They may explain nutrition issues to clients, assess the dietary and health needs of clients, develop meal plan for clients, gauge the effects of these meal plans, promote nutrition through lecture and educational groups and keep abreast of the latest research in nutritional and food sciences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Dietary consults
• Dietary follow-up
• Develop meal plans
• Develop individual meal logs
• Assist in developing client treatment plans
• Attend treatment team meetings as needed
• Consulting with Medical, Clinical and Nursing team
• Provide client education on nutrition and wellness
Required Qualifications:
• Florida Registered Dietitian license
• Experience working with eating disorders
• Previous experience working with clients who have substance abuse and or mental health
• CPR Certification
