Direct Support Professionals in staffed residences:

· Provide assistance in a home setting for 2-3 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

· Support assigned individuals' direct care needs including but not limited to getting dressed, bathing and showering, toileting and hygiene needs, grocery shopping, feeding, medication administration, assistance with walking and/or wheelchair mobility, preparation of meals and snacks as needed, and facilitation of activities to increase community inclusion.

· Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as requested to support individuals in discussions of their person-centered service plans with regard to their health, safety, and overall wellbeing.

· Assist individuals to work toward and achieve their individualized service goals when applicable.

· Work together as a team with other staff assigned to the home to ensure the day-to-day functionality of the home under the guidance of the Assistant Residential Director.

· Respond quickly to requests to work.

· Be willing to work where needed in the Owensboro and Henderson service areas.

· Stay overnight in the home as needed.
