Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Strategist at Riverview Health is responsible for developing and executing digital strategies to engage target audiences. This role involves overseeing social media content, managing the organizational website, optimizing SEO and SEM efforts, and leading digital transformation projects. The Digital Strategist collaborates with cross-functional teams and ensures effective communication across channels to enhance the organization’s digital presence. 

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement digital strategies to identify and engage target audiences. 
• Oversee and manage the content on social media platforms and the organizational website. 
• Conduct reputation management efforts over all organization social media outlets, consumer websites and digital listings platforms. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of digital marketing initiatives. 
• Analyze user experience data and provide insights to enhance digital campaigns. 
• Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative approaches to enhance digital presence. 
• Lead digital transformation projects and assess customer needs to inform strategic decisions. 
• Work closely with web developers and designers to redevelop the organization’s website. Ensure optimal user experience, functionality, and accessibility. 
• Manage website including maintaining content and enhancing website capabilities when needed 
• Oversee optimization of website content, meta tags, and other elements to improve organic search rankings and visibility. 
• Manage paid search campaigns (e.g., Google Ads) to drive targeted traffic and conversions. 
• Manage digital internal communications channels including writing and deploying internal newsletters, intranet articles and maintenance of internal communications platform(s).
• Coordinate and manage digital projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

Education Requirements

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, healthcare, and or related degree. 

Experience Requirements

• Minimum: Two (2) years digital marketing strategy with management and launch experience.
• Preferred: Five (5) years healthcare public relations, media relations, communications or marketing experience with a heavy focus on digital marketing.
