Riverview Restaurant is Hiring a Lead line cook Near Burlington, NJ
Riverview is a large independent ACF registered full-service restaurant & bar located on the Delaware river, in the historic district of Burlington, New Jersey.
We are open for dinner service, special events and brunch on Sundays. Weds-Sunday with service from 3pm-10pm (10am-4pm Sundays).
We offer paid time off, employee discount.
We are looking for a lead line cook to expand our kitchen team. You will be working in a kitchen led by our executive chef.
You are a culinary professional who holds yourself to a higher standard, are willing and able to step in and lead the line when required and train and educate others in a patient and collaborative way.
You are willing to help the head chef and sous chef achieve food safety standards and implement corrective actions as requried.
Our restaurant in a community and regional favorite, has large indoor and outdoor capacity and hosts large events and functions including weddings, corporate functions, anniversaries and charity galas.
We have a seasonally changing casual upscale menu, and you will know you're part of a winning leadership team when a dish that you and the team has helped to prepare has guests raving and anxious to return.

Previous kitchen cooking experience necessary 2-3 years)
Experience in a wide range of cooking techniques (grill, pasta, saute, fry, pantry, rational / steam etc)
Ability to follow direction, give direction and meet standards
Open Availability : dinner and brunch service.
- Ensuring Food Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, fryers, roasters, and other kitchen equipment.
- Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
