Role Summary :
You will work closely with the Head of Photo and the Creative Studio to implement and maintain a consistent look & feel across all Rivian brand photography.
You will assist in editing, suggesting selects and coordinating with team members for placement. You will track the workflow between outside retouching vendors and Rivian’s vehicle design team to ensure adjustments are integrated with the work prior to final approval & delivery.
You will oversee the Rivian Data Asset Management Systems; Box and BrandFolder and work with photographers and Rivian’s Creative Studio to uphold workflow that will ensure a robust, efficient, & secure means of archiving photography assets.
You will maintain the BrandFolder library through metadata tagging and file organization which will continue a invaluable resource for Rivian employees to utilize as we scale upward.
Responsibilities :
You are an experienced Photoshop compositor with a unique point of view and a strong photorealistic style possessing a keen sense of natural reflection, shadow, light & perspective.
A natural eye for composition and ability to transform the most basic image with a thoughtful application of color and a nuanced grasp of brightness, saturation, and tone.
A good-natured listener, comfortable in a fast-paced work environment with unpredictable hours and tight deadlines.
A natural collaborator who can work thoroughly but expediently with multiple teams at once.
Extremely well-organized & technically savvy, with the ability to deliver files at any spec and archive your projects consistently.
You have deep knowledge and passion for art & design - you keep an eye on illustrators, painters, and other visual artists as additional resources for visual storytelling.
A strong visual arts background and proven capacity to bring any image to life.
You are a troubleshooter, self-starter, and comfortable taking initiative.
You’re willing to dive in and collaborate with multiple high-volume teams.
Qualifications :
A portfolio that showcases variety and a high level of skill in retouching models and products in outdoor environments
4 years of experience working with visual artists and retouching vendors
Fluency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Figma, Asana, Outlook, Slack, FrameIO Social Media Platforms.
Pay Disclosure :
Salary Range for California Based Applicants : $87,300 - $109,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary : Rivian provides robust medical / Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26.
Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
