- Composing written matter relating to consultant-recommended instructions, policies, and procedures, ensuring deliverable formats that serve as highly useful tools for our customers.
- Investigating and studying material used through examination of systems, diagrams, and interviews with subject matter consultants.
- Supervising final production of major documents.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-8 years of technical writing experience; or equivalent experience and combined education.
- Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in development, writing, formatting, editing, and proofreading of DoD technical documentation such as system adminstration manuals, studies, standard operational procedures, policy reviews, guides, techinical documentation, and business processes.
- Excelled written communication and grammatical skills.
- Experience working directly with technical SMEs.
- Strong formatting skills with the ability to develop and implement style guides and templates.
- Excelled organizational skills.
- Expert knowledge of the full range of Microsoft Office products and productivity tools.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Acrobat productivity tools.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Acrobat productivity tools
- Information Technology Management-DOD 5000 and DOD 8000 series instructions and directives
- Assessibility Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, 21st Century IDEA Act
- IT procurement policy: Specifically DODi 5000.82, 5000.90 DFARS
- IT Budgeting: OMB A-130, OMB A-11, DOD FMR Ch2 section 18
- DOD Cybersecurity operations: DODI 8500.01, 8510.01 and other cyber policy
- DOD or Governement exp
- MS Office Suite and SharePoint
