Job Description
Riza Plants is looking for a store manager to join our growing team! As a manager, you will oversee, plan, and execute daily operations at Riza Plants. You are a plant-impassioned, business-minded individual who has a love for a fast paced, startup environment. You are a leader and will communicate daily tasks and duties for your teammates. You have a natural ability to drive results and motivate the team to positively impact sales and an overall positive customer experience.
Requirements:
Knowledge of the basic principles of horticulture, specifically indoor plants.
Experience with indoor plants at home.
Retail, merchandising, and sales experience.
Attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Ability to work on your feet 6-8 hours a day.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Tech literate.
Minimum one year of retail experience.
Must have a valid and clean driver's license.
Must be able to work weekends.
- Available to work during retail black out periods and holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.
- Comfortable providing clear and effective upward feedback, delegating tasks, motivating others, and getting their hands dirty- yes, we work with dirt!
Compensation: D.O.E
Bonus Incentives: 40% off select houseplants.
