Service Consultant - Advisor

Seeking a seasoned and highly driven service advisor to join our successful service team. Current and previous Cadillac Buick GMC experience is a plus!

The service advisor is responsible for creating and closing out repair orders for customers while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Reynolds and Dealership experience preferred.

Service advisor responsibilities include and are not limited to:

• Greeting customers promptly upon arrival.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Provide quality customer service, consistently achieving excellent CSI scores.
• Communicate between the customer and the technician. Ensure complete understanding in regards to the services provided.
• Keep customers informed with necessary information based on service and time.
• Accurately verify warranty and service contracts.
• Prepare and process repair orders accurately, including all costs and descriptions of symptoms.
• Advise customers on additional services required and explain all the benefits.
• Effectively work with technicians who perform all automotive mechanical services.
• Explaining all work and charges completed to customers.

Specific skills required:

• Prior experience as a service advisor or service writer required.
• Candidates must possess above-average phone and communication skills.
• Multi-tasking in busy drive situations.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Excellent sales history and customer service a must!
• Experience with Reynolds is a plus.
• Cadillac – Buick – GMC training and certification.
• Works well with existing staff members.
• Valid driver's license.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work Saturday.
