RMA Network is Hiring a Billing Coordinator - Charges Near Basking Ridge, NJ
For almost twenty years, our physicians, nurses, and staff have worked together toward the common goal of helping our patients become parents. RMA is seeking a full-time Billing Coordinator to join our growing team in Basking Ridge, NJ . Scheduled work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The right candidates will have high energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, along with a demonstrated self-directed work ethic needed to succeed. Responsibilities include:
Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating the patients' personal, financial and insurance information
Document progress and office notes in the EMRand /or billing system
Document services to be billed by collecting and utilizing information from charts
Accurately post daily payments and charges to patient accounts, including surgical billing
Transmit electronic claims daily work rejections on a timely basis
Posting Insurance payments performing contractual allowance and ensuring payments match our contracted rates
Process credit card payments and ensure they are posted timely to patient accounts
Monitor patient invoices
Generate Electronic Patient Statements weekly
Collect revenue by reviewing and transmitting insurance claims
Support Finance Department by effecting daily and monthly close
Skills & Requirements
High School Diploma; additional technical education preferred
Minimum 1 year of medical reimbursement experience
Medical software program experience required; Excel a plus.
High level of listening skills. Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
Aptitude to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
