RMS is looking for ambitious, capable, and skilled technicians to join our network of over 2,500 employees nationwide. RMS is an industry leader in all aspects of railroad terminal operations including maintenance. RMS is seeking an experienced, safety conscious Diesel Power Technician to perform maintenance, service and repair on a variety of equipment used in the daily activities at an Intermodal Terminal. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Rate of pay is based on mechanical experience and based on union rates.
Applicants must have prior experience performing general maintenance on diesel engines, with basic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Basic welding and fabrication skills are preferred.
All applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Must possess a valid driver’s license at all times. Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
