Our Human Resources team is looking for two committed and eager students to join us this summer as an HR Intern and as a Recruiting Intern. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing company within the dynamic energy sector. The summer interns will gain exposure to various HR functions, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, and compliance.
Required job functions:
Assist in the implementation of the performance management module, including setting up new hire check-ins, evaluations, and goal tracking processes.
Provide administrative support for performance management activities, such as data entry and report generation.
Work alongside HR team members to review and update the employee handbook.
Conduct research to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Assist in drafting and formatting handbook content to improve clarity and accessibility
Assist with day-to-day tasks, such as organizing files, updating databases, and responding to employee inquiries.
Aid in sourcing candidates for open positions, particularly for entry-level roles, to alleviate workload for HR staff.
Assist in collecting required details to update and format job descriptions
Support creating job templates with the Applicant Tracking Systems
Participate in initial candidate screening and scheduling interviews as needed.
Contribute to projects and initiatives as assigned by HR manager or team members.
Experience:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field in an accredited university or college.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Availability to work full-time during the summer months.
Other requirements:
Prior internship or work experience in HR or Recruiting is a plus.
Familiarity with recruiting or HR software is preferred but not required.
Ability to pass a background check
