We are looking for a strategic Director of Brand Communications who will develop and lead RNGD’s brand strategy and comprehensive external communications plan.The ideal candidate will be an action oriented, self-starter who is intellectually curious and creative when leading brand communications projects for RNGD. Serving as an ambassador for RNGD, you will ensure that the company is telling powerful stories about the communities we build and the projects we lead. Interacting with senior leaders, you will have the opportunity to highlight leadership, strong operational expertise, agility, and measurable results. You will work directly with an existing People & Marketing team that is committed to building a great brand, great teams, great leaders, and an innovative company. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will partner with the Project Marketing Director responsible for construction marketing and the People Director responsible for internal communications to be part of a world-class team that is leading the construction industry in how we build Brand and Team

Primary Responsibilities

STRATEGY: Develop and execute strategic integrated communications and marketing initiatives to increase the awareness of RNGD and effectively convey the Brand’s values and vision.

INTEGRATED COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING: Drive the research, planning, development, and measurement of a comprehensive integrated communications & marketing program, that includes but is not limited to media relations, advertising, social media marketing and content marketing.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Manage and coordinate key projects, plans, calendars, research and insights with other teams, and serve as a convener and resource for other teams and leaders.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Manage internal and external consultants and creative resources to build and maintain a robust collection of content utilized across communications, proposals and advertising. Collaborate with internal teams, to organize amplification of key messages across channels.

CROSS-COLLABORATION: Demonstration leadership in building a culture of positive employee and team experiences that support a diverse and inclusive work culture.

REPORTING & ANALYSIS: Track and analyze the performance of integrated communications initiatives by establishing KPIs and leveraging data and insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of marketing and communications on both agency and in-house teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Existing relationships with national, regional and B2B trade media, analysts and influencers.
  • Required Experience: managing executive thought leadership programs such as industry tradeshow and sponsorship activations facilitating media trainings; leading brainstorms, messaging and content planning sessions; crafting content marketing programs; developing digital marketing programs.
  • Familiarity with: CMS and CRM platforms, Google Analytics, Microsoft 365, newswire service providers, Adobe Suite and project management platforms. Strong knowledge of marketing project processes and project management
  • Excellent leadership and critical thinking skills supported by a propensity to be collaborative and drive progress.
  • Must be a self-starter with a bias for action and a proven track record in people, process and systems and demonstrate strong business acumen.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategies that drive business results. 
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills; Excellent presentation, interpersonal, counseling, influencing and negotiation skills; capable of translating complex issues in terms readily understandable to a broad audience.
  • A quick study with an abundance of intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects and prioritize based on business needs and impacts.
