We are seeking a talented and passionate Drafter to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to modify plans and develop comprehensive construction documents that bring our clients' visions to life. As a Drafter at RNL Homes, you will be at the forefront of residential design, working closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and construction details.
• Modify existing plans and create new designs based on client specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare and develop construction documents ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to translate concepts into precise technical drawings.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions to ensure the accuracy and quality of drawings throughout the design and construction process.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all drawings and revisions for accountability and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with the construction team to address any issues or questions related to the drawings.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new CAD technologies, and best practices to enhance design efficiency and quality.
• Identify and resolve design-related problems or discrepancies during the construction phase.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in the construction or architectural industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous CAD drafting work, particularly in residential construction or custom home design.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of architectural designs, floor plans, and construction documents.
• Understanding of local and national building codes and regulations.
• Familiarity with construction industry standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of architectural design principles and construction techniques.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Willingness o learn new software and technologies as adopted in the industry.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Aptitude for solving design and technical problems.
• Adaptability to evolving design and construction practices.

Salary and Benefits:
