We are currently hiring for individuals interested in a position that could be either full-time, roughly 6.5 hours/day, 5 days a week(M-F), or as an on-call substitute. This position would involve working in close proximity to the teacher and providing behavioral support to students when applicable. We are looking for someone interested in committing to this position long-term. Experience working and supporting kids with special needs, and providing a mix of 1:1 and general support is preferred.

Our providers are assigned to cases as either 1:1 supports, as a general classroom aide, or on-call substitute.

• As a 1:1 support: you would be going to each class with your student to provide behavioral and educational support throughout the day. 1:1 supporters are in charge of ensuring their student is on task and working towards their behavioral goals.
• General classroom supports: providers who are assigned to work with a single teacher or classroom. In this role, providers will support wherever they are needed most by the teacher. Typically every day looks different in this position, and you may be working with several different students throughout your day.
• On-call substitute: you would be available weekdays, to cover in the event of a call out in the area. You can expect to be notified of a call out in either the morning of the available shift or during one of the days leading up to the available shift.

Physical Demands: This position regularly requires employees to talk, hear, and communicate with both children and adults. Employees are frequently required to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The position may frequently require lifting, bending, and crouching. The employee may occasionally lift/move up to 40 pounds.

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with Autism, special needs or other developmental disabilities (Preferred)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• 2 professional References from work experiences within the last 5 years
