Workover Rig Operator

Location: Casper, WY

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: M-F, Some Weekend Availability Required

Job Summary
The Workover Rig Operator will complete a multitude of functions including but not limited to operating a workover rig, supervising a 3-5 person crew, and providing top-tier customer service.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operates the rig and equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and those requested or designated by the customer.
• Maintains contact and communication with customer.
• Maintains productivity standards for all rig employees and adheres to all applicable government regulations for compliance.
• Ensures efficient maintenance of assigned rig and crew truck.
• Obtain a valid driver's license to operate a crew truck when necessary.
• Report safety hazards, accidents, and/or maintenance issues to the supervisory rig hand.
• Complete required work plans, job safety analysis, observations, and attend safety meetings as required.
• Play a role in the company's Behavior Based Safety and Proactive Reporting Program.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• CDL strongly preferred, but not required.
• Workover rig operator experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written.
• Must have basic problem solving and organizational skills.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift objects of up to 75 pounds for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work with a team.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work with current and potential customers, both internal and external.
• Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions such as rain, heat/cold, and exposure to loud noises.
