Job Summary:

Carolina Cooks Restaurant Equipment in Asheville, NC (28806) is hiring a full-time Sales Associate/Cashier . In this role, you’ll assist customers with their purchases, provide excellent service, and help keep the store running smoothly. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $13 to $17 (based on experience) and benefits such as paid time off and medical, dental, and vision insurance (with the company covering half of the cost) after 90 days.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers, helping them find the right products.
• Handle sales transactions at the register and process payments accurately.
• Provide product information and answer customer questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Restock shelves and update displays as needed.
• Stand for long periods during your shift.
• Work closely with the team to meet sales goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in sales or as a cashier is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic computer skills for processing sales and inventory.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
