The Systems Engineer will plan, implement, and support our information systems. They will be an expert in cloud, storage, server virtualization, compute, and disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and expertise to the Systems Engineering Team.
- Develop and improve system deployment and maintenance practices.
- Analyze and improve current processes and standards.
- Ensure system performance and reliability.
- Solve problems before they impact business productivity.
- Be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation to handle technical issues.
- Work with Infrastructure Teams to design secure technologies.
- Create and deploy tools to automate and streamline operations.
- Monitor and maintain all cloud and on-site infrastructure.
- Handle advanced infrastructure requests and incidents.
- 7 years of experience in similar roles.
- Expert in Windows Server, Linux, and Azure Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365, Windows RDS, VDI solutions, PowerShell, and storage platforms (SANs).
- Experience with VMware.
- Positive attitude towards customer support.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good time management and organization skills.
- Industry certifications (MCSE, VCP, Azure fundamentals) preferred.
- $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
