Horseshoe Bend RV Resort – F&B Attendant 

Horseshoe Bend RV resort is positioned to become a market leader and consists of 220 premium RV sites, 12 modern cabins, and exceptionally designed guest amenities. Located in a natural desert valley with incredible rock formations and expansive vistas, the resort boasts close proximity to Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, Lone Rock Beach, Antelope Valley Park, and Escalante Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

We are seeking an entry-level Part Time Kitchen Staff/Cook. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the outdoors, and our natural surroundings, and a dedication to curating bespoke, authentic, and regionally relevant experiences for our guests. You are motivated by the opportunity to become an expert on local attractions and welcome guests of all ages and experiences to our unique brand of hospitality.

Position Overview:

You will represent Horseshoe Bend by providing positive, lasting impressions to all within the resort and emphasizing a culture that empowers all staff to do the same. Our Kitchen is looking for a skilled Cook to join our existing team. You will be tasked with doing your part to help our restaurant operate as efficiently and effectively as possible. This will require you to be adaptable and willing to do a little bit of everything that our kitchen needs to do its best work.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils
• Clean and sanitize food preparation workstations
• Complete the food preparation process by cutting, chopping, slicing, and washing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
• Follow all food health and safety requirements
• Assist with the unloading of deliveries and their proper storage
• Communicate kitchen needs to supervisors
• Interact with customers as needed
• Prepare food to menu specifications and follow all temperature requirements to adhere to safe food handling guidelines 

Ideal Candidate:

• Detail-oriented, organized, and driven
• Schedule flexibility
• Food handler’s permit
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in a restaurant preferred
• Physical ability to stand for an entire shift and lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to work weekends and nights
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Existing knowledge of food safety procedures preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme elements including heat and cold, as needed
