Building Substitute

* 1.0 FTE at Armstrong High School

* Salary based on Teacher Collective Bargaining Agreement

* Full-time benefits are included

Responsibilities:

* Provide a consistent and safe learning environment for all students

* Follow the plans and procedures put in place by the classroom teachers

* Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher

* Work with students of varying ages and abilities

* Support in a positive manner existing practices regarding student behavior and conduct

* Attend and participate in all required staff meeting and department meetings

* Collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers and support staff to meet the current needs of students and maintain a positive learning environment

* Support with small group academic and behavioral instruction

* Support the overall functions of the building

* Other duties as assigned

Qualification:

* Applicants must hold a current MN teaching license.

* Ability to adapt to plans and specific classrooms

* Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers and support staff to meet the current needs of students and maintain a positive learning environment
