Accounting Managers!!

In this role, you will be overseeing the effective operation of the accounting team and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of their accounting practices. Will oversee a small team and be expected to perform day-to-day accounting functions. Will work collaboratively with the Accountants and Controller

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting operations to ensure accurate accounting data is available consistently and timely

• Maintain a system of controls over all transactions

• Supervise the month and year-end close processes

• Coordinate and assign duties to accounting staff

• Collaborate with other teams to improve the organization’s efficiency and accuracy in areas relative to the flow of program information to the accounting department

• Perform day-to-day accounting functions when necessary

• Use accounting software systems for various accounting functions

• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

• Ensure accounting practices adhere to accounting principles

Requirements Of the Position

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• A minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role within an accounting department

• Proficiency in the use of Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrated ability to manage all Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions and General Ledger management

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

• Strong leadership abilities and team management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of current financial regulations and accounting principles
