This role involves functioning as an Accounts Payable Clerk which is critical in maintaining our financial operations. Responsibilities include: • Accurate data entry of accounts payables and/or accounts receivables• Handling of funds such as cashiering, receipt of customer payments, and generation of payables checks to suppliers• Answering more complex questions from internal and external customers to resolve transactional issues• Maintaining transaction records and files• Conducting analysis of unresolved transactional issues and providing solutions to meet required deadlines• Supervising and providing training to less experienced staff• Ensuring smooth operation of payroll and benefits functions• Assisting in benchmarking activities to ensure competitive salary structures• Facilitating professional development opportunities for all team members• Liaising with suppliers, customers, and other external parties as necessary
