SUMMARY

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the Corporation’s billing functions for all branch locations in the Company.

Includes providing financial, administrative and clerical services in an efficient, accurate and organized manner. This is a full time in office position, Monday through Friday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Receivable duties include :

• Process project, service and preventative maintenance invoice billings.
• Verify billing tickets to ensure address and purchase order are correct.
• Review account coding to ensure revenue is being recorded properly.
• Review sales tax calculation to determine amount charged to customer is correct, if applicable.
• Verify and allocate inter-company revenue and deferred revenue as needed.
• Deliver customer invoices timely via email, mail and website upload.
• Process credit card transactions.
• Respond to customer billing questions.
• Review aging reports for delinquent accounts.
• Call on and generate statements to customers with past-due invoices.
• Review open sales orders to ensure all completed tickets have been billed prior to month-end cutoff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
