We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team located in Santa Barbara, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting, administrative, and office management tasks. This role will require you to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities:• Assist in accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure transactions are processed accurately.• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner.• Conduct reconciliation of financial statements and bank accounts.• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate records of financial transactions.• Oversee office supplies inventory and procurement, manage office equipment, and coordinate office maintenance and repairs.• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring office cleanliness and organization.• Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments, manage calendars and coordinate travel arrangements.• Maintain filing systems and databases, handle confidential documents and information with discretion.• Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed.• Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams, providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, assist in preparing documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.• Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards.
