Robert Half is Hiring an Accounting Clerk Near Christina, MT
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze data from various project logs and ticket lists related to fixed assets
- Ensure accurate tracking and recording of asset movements, from job sites back to the main inventory
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data efficiently
- Contribute to the audit process by verifying the dates of asset usage on specific projects and the dates of official transfers back to the main inventory
- Update missing data on ticket lists and other project logs
- Maintain a high level of detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the audit is completed in a timely manner
- Address any discrepancies or issues in the data promptly and professionally
- Assist in other accounting tasks as required.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or a similar role in the financial sector is required.
- Familiarity with basic Accounting procedures and principles is crucial.
- The candidate should have hands-on experience with spreadsheets, particularly Microsoft Excel, and financial reports.
- Knowledge of Fixed Assets is a plus.
- Strong numeracy and organizational skills are essential.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is required.
- Applicant must possess a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently is necessary.
