DescriptionRobert Half is recruiting for a diligent Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join a hopsitality company in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing the general ledger operations, supporting the Finance Director and ensuring efficient operation of the Accounting department. This role is key in delivering accurate financial reports and maintaining sound financial planning and cash management processes.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of all journal entries, month-end reports, and reconciliations
- Participate in monthly financial reviews
- Supervise Accounting staff and the financial functions of the business
- Ensure proper fiscal management, timely and accurate reporting and analysis
- General ledger account reconciliations, prepare budgets, carry out inventories, manage monthly closings, and hold full P& L responsibility
- Ensure SOX compliance and assist the Director with completing the year-end audit process
- Prepare all monthly financial statements, investigate, review, and analyze the variance explanations
- Knowledge in ADP - Financial Services
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in Auditing and Bank Reconciliations
- Proficiency in General Ledger and Month End Close
- Able to prepare Journal Entries and Monthly Financial Statements
- Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Excel
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor.
- Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services.
- Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Proven experience in Auditing procedures.
- Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations.
- Proficiency in General Ledger maintenance.
- Experience in Month End Close procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to record Journal Entries.
- Experience in preparing Monthly Financial Statements.
- Proficiency in Oracle finance software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country
