Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting an Accounting Manager to support our retail client for a month-long engagement based in Santa Monica. This role will report directly to the COO and work closely with the accounting team to perform a two-year clean-up of the accounting books, focusing primarily on the balance sheet and sub-ledgers. The right person will have a strong understanding of accounting, a proven ability to identify issues and clean up accounting records, and be familiar with the retail industry (inventory accounting).- Reviews general ledger and sub-ledger for accounting accuracy (reconcile balances)- Triage transactions and research the validity and propose corrective actions to COO- Coordinate, track (Monday.com), and validate corrections to the accounting books
