We are in the market for a diligent Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry. This role will be based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and will involve managing a team focused on accounting functions. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the close process, internal controls, and audit responsibilities.Responsibilities:• Manage a team of four, overseeing their performance and providing guidance as necessary• Review and manage the close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and all data is accurate• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with industry standards• Act as the primary point of contact for audit responsibilities, liaising with external auditors as necessary• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to manage and organize financial data• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently• Conduct regular auditing to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial regulations• Manage billing functions, ensuring all invoices are sent and paid in a timely manner• Oversee the Month End Close process, ensuring all financial reports are prepared and submitted on time• Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data, and to prepare reports• Ensure all financial operations align with internal control protocols.Interested candidates please contact Tamara Young 757-981-0974
