Responsibilities
- Align and administer financial resources towards organizational goals
- Manage and oversee the annual budget
- Ensure effective financial management within the organization
- Process and maintain accurate accounting records
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for financial transactions
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, as well as invoice processing
- Perform account reconciliation tasks diligently
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and billing processes
- Collaborate with a dynamic finance team to achieve organizational goals.
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role in the non-profit sector
- Proficiency in account reconciliation processes and procedures
- Experience in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Familiarity with billing procedures and data entry tasks
- Skills in invoice processing and maintaining accurate financial records
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for handling and analyzing data
- Experience in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
