Our client located in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with at least 3 years of full-cycle AP experience. The right candidate will have a good understanding of the inventory cycle and its effect on the sales cycle, along with an ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage full cycle of accounts payable including receipt, processing, verification, and reconciliation of invoices.Perform 3-way match for purchase orders and non-purchase orders.Handle high volume of transactions, processing over 100 transactions per day.Manage vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in billing and payments.Perform monthly closures, including reconciliations and accruals.Collaborate with other departments to manage inventory and understand sales cycle impact.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum three years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.Familiarity with 3-way matching for PO and Non-PO.Comfortable in high volume, fast-paced environments.Proficiency in Excel (Intermediate level).Experience with Adobe software.Good understanding of the inventory cycle and its effect on the sales cycle.Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of taking initiative in a structured environment.Experience with SAGE would be a huge plus.
