Robert Half has a current opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Wichita, Kansas area and will be a long-term contract / temporary position. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.What you get to do every single day- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling- Implement full-cycle A/P- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it- Provide internal and external audit assistance as required- Provide customer service to internal business partners
