Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable Processes: Oversee the entire accounts payable process, including invoice verification, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors, resolve payment discrepancies, and negotiate payment terms when necessary.
- Supervise AP Team: Lead and supervise a team of accounts payable specialists, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline accounts payable procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations, including timely reporting and accurate documentation.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and payment schedules to optimize cash management and support financial planning.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts payable status, aging analysis, and other relevant metrics for management review.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing documentation and explanations as required.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records.
- Leadership skills and experience managing a team.
