Responsibilities
- Uphold the organization's commitment by providing compassionate, dignified, and exceptional care for all
- Implement the six principles of trauma-informed care in all work aspects
- Examine incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company procedures
- Assign appropriate general ledger accounts to invoices and obtain necessary approvals
- Prepare and issue payments through checks and ACH transfers
- Ensure timely and accurate payment dispensations in line with payment terms
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather required information for invoice processing
- Act as liaison with vendors to answer queries, resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships
- Match accounts payable transactions to statements and resolve any misalignments
- Oversee the organization's corporate credit card programs
- Monitor and manage vendor accounts to guarantee accurate and current records
- Help prepare accounts payable and other financial reports as required
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing operations
- Adhere to company policies, accounting rules, and pertinent regulations.
