Responsibilities
- Monitor accounts receivable transactions to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable.
- Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and initiate collections process as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and customer communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve customer billing inquiries or disputes.
- Analyze aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and implement collection strategies accordingly.
- Prepare reports and presentations on accounts receivable performance for management review.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Functions
- Strong experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
- In-depth knowledge of Billing Functions
- Familiarity with Cash Activity management
- Proficiency in Collection Processes
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising an accounts receivable team
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven track record of improving accounts receivable processes and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
