This thriving company wants you to grow with them as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) detail oriented. If you're looking for an Accounts Receivable position with a noteworthy benefits package, this dynamic organization has an opening available through Robert Half. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role, based in the Auburn Hills, Michigan region, is a full-time position. You will succeed in this position if you can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. This is an on site role in Auburn Hills. Key responsibilities: Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this individual will be responsible for accounts receivable, collections and supporting invoicing needs. Responsibilities Enter cash receipts. Analyze payments. Contact customers for slow payments. Transmit credit card purchases. Transmit invoices through EDI terminal. Track Ford, Daimler Chrysler, GM invoices and payments. Research and address discrepancies. Prepare documentation for customer reimbursements. Analyze payment history, assist in determining credit status. Prepare customer invoices. File documents. Navigate a stressful environment. Ensure regular daily attendance. Perform additional assigned duties.
