Robert Half is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Burlington, VT

DescriptionWe are actively seeking an energetic and focused Entry Level Accounts Receivable Clerk for one of our clients in South Burlington, VT. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and operations of the company by ensuring an efficient and accurate billing process.
Major Responsibilities
  • Handle daily lease account reconciliations and cash postings.
  • Contact leasing vendors regarding overdue invoices and discrepancies in billing.
  • Review and audit lease and service billings effectively.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to investigate aging items on financial reports.
  • Display proficiency in using our billing and financial systems.
  • Develop and distribute a weekly aging report to the Division Accounting Manager.
  • Initiate and engage in assertive but respectful communications to collect past due funds.
Essential Activities
  • Dedicate 40% of your time to internal research, quality assurance, and aging analysis.
  • Allocate 35% of your time to cash posting and account reconciliation.
  • Spend 25% of your time communicating with leasing companies (via telephone, email, and fax).
Requirements
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the specified location
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
