We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the bustling location of Madison Heights, Michigan. As part of our team, you will contribute to the financial health of our organization within a dynamic workplace environment. This role focuses on managing accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of transactions, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts receivable functions including invoicing, posting payments, and account reconciliations
• Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions
• Utilize accounting software for data entry and financial record maintenance
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely collections
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable
• Maintain a strong understanding of revenue cycle management
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, NetSuite for daily tasks
• Handle various accounting environments such as public, corporate, or governmental accounting
• Ensure all transactions and processes adhere to company policies and regulations
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to improve job function and provide optimal service.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Demonstrated ability in Billing processes

• Experience with Cash Applications

• Skills in Cash Collections and Commercial Collections

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with NetSuite software

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
