Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage customer accounts and invoicing to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Establish and update customer credit limits as necessary, based on customer's creditworthiness.
- Follow up with customers who have overdue balances, taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to ensure accurate and current books for effective business decision-making.
- Support financial transactions and systems optimization by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts.
- Communicate discrepancies to the management team and identify slow-paying customers for collection recommendation.
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients through phone, email, and mail.
- Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying opportunities for performance improvement.
- Perform daily cash management and application responsibilities, including recording bank deposits, updating and distributing cash receipt logs, and posting cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger and applicable customer invoices.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must.
- Proficiency in Billing procedures is necessary.
- Experience with Cash Applications is required.
- Familiarity with Cash Collections is essential.
- Experience in Commercial Collections is necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Experience with Oracle is a must.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is necessary.
- Proficiency in SAP is required.
