Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer credit applications
- Maintain and update customer credit records
- Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
- Handle ACH payments processing and daily cash/payments transactions
- Perform account reconciliations and manage customer accounts, including making corrections and adjusting entries when necessary
- Oversee the termination and charge off processes, reviewing and verifying termination quotes to payoffs
- Handle insurance settlements, including title guarantee, payoffs, and termination checklists
- Manage internal payments and follow up for payments
- Handle account terminations and related tasks
- Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Collections, and Microsoft Excel to perform job duties effectively.
- Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Experience with billing procedures and cash collections
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with financial software is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field is preferred.
