We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant - Contingent in El Segundo, California. The role is central to connecting various internal departments and field sales, providing exceptional internal support and representing organizational needs and goals. This position requires a self-motivated and resourceful individual who can effectively liaise with sales employees and internal departments.Responsibilities:• Serve as a liaison between sales employees and internal departments, facilitating effective communication.• Handle administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, calendar management, and processing purchase requisitions and invoice approvals.• Coordinate and manage convention meeting requests, including check requests, exhibit property, and equipment.• Facilitate onboarding and transition requests in line with management directives.• Provide assistance to field sales related to customer accounts, quotes, promotions, and corporate initiatives.• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process credit applications efficiently.• Manage sample inventory and ensure directories, job aids, and templates are up-to-date and accurate.• Coordinate visits to KSEA Technology Center and other customer reference sites.• Direct internal and external customer problems to the appropriate person or department for resolution, ensuring needs are met.• Create, maintain, and distribute sales and bookings reports on an ad hoc basis.• Understand and effectively communicate company capabilities, policies, procedures, and services to the sales force and management.
