DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Alexandria, Virginia. Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the organization
- Handle emailing correspondence efficiently and professionally
- Generate memos, letters, spreadsheets, and forms as required
- Answer inbound calls courteously and professionally
- Handle scanning, filing, and printing duties
- Cover the front desk as needed, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors
- Distribute mail within the organization accurately and timely
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word to complete tasks
- Manage inbound and outbound calls effectively
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars as necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience in answering inbound and outbound calls.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with data entry tasks.
- Familiarity with email correspondence.
- Ability to schedule appointments efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- High attention to detail.
