DescriptionRobert Half is hiring an Administrative Assistant for an established and respected law office in the Quad Cities. This is a developing role coming available as the firm is growing. In this role, you'll be able to provide administrative support to an established attorney who is growing their support team. You'll lend support through activities such as typing dictation, scheduling, communicating with their clients, keeping track of where all cases are in process and share upcoming court dates for each case. The ideal candidate will exude professionalism and organization skills, with a high level of attention to detail. This is a contract-to-full-time position that is ready to start. Specific Responsibilities Include
Addressing incoming phone calls
Client interaction, scheduling and communication
Document preparation, preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, subpoenas and correspondence
Dictation, drafting correspondence, e-filing
Conducting research, retrieving, scanning, organizing various records
Managing organization of case files

RequirementsYou will contribute to the success of this team through the following strengths:
2 years of prior administrative experience in a fast-paced office
Must be tech-savvy and a quick learner, proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word and Outlook
Able to type 45-60 wpm
Excellent editing, proofreading skills, spelling and grammar
Strong organization and prioritization skills
Legal experience is NOT required although it is valued and; compensation will align with experience brought to position.
