We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Manufacturing industry, located in Hauppauge, New York. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks, requiring skills in Microsoft Office Suites and previous administrative experience. Responsibilities:• Manage customer Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs)• Handle vendor RMAs and update return authorizations• Perform inventory adjustments related to return authorizations• Enter vendor purchase order acknowledgments and expedite parts on order with our vendors as needed• Distribute mail and faxes on a daily basis• Prepare and mail form letters, line cards and other related documents as needed• Answer the central telephone system and direct calls accordingly• Respond to inquiries from employees, citizens and others, referring to the appropriate person or department when necessary• Answer departmental calls that go unanswered, taking messages or distributing as necessary• Take up additional responsibilities as requested by management.
