Olivia Quinlan from the Technology division at Robert Half is hiring for an Senior Applications Analyst in Buffalo, New York. This role involves providing advanced support, maintenance, and enhancement for our key business applications. The successful candidate will liaise with business stakeholders, developers, and external vendors to assess and resolve application issues while also implementing workflow automation.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive support and maintenance for core business applications across the organization.

• Collaborate with solution providers to monitor and resolve user issues. • Work as a communication bridge between key customers and IT, providing updates and insights on technical matters related to core business applications.

• Collaborate with department heads and teams to assess processes and implement workflow automation.

• Oversee unit testing and integrated application testing, including creating test plans and documentation.

• Participate in project teams as a representative of IT, serving as a bridge between stakeholders, users, and the IT Project Management Office. • Conduct detailed analysis of user requirements and develop both functional and technical specifications to meet their needs.

• Manage the change control process for all core business applications.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of work processes, information systems, applications, and integrations, including interfaces, databases, reports, and enhancements, to support the successful operation of user departments.

• Provide off-hour on-call support for critical application issues as required.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in application support engineering or application analysis

• Proficient in database management

• Expertise with Microsoft Dynamics (D365, Dynamics NAV, and Microsoft Dynamics NAV)

• Experience with EO/IR systems is required

• Familiarity with AB Testing methodologies

• Knowledge of computer hardware and configuration management

• Experience with Epicor and Epicor ERP systems

• Knowledge of Prophet 21

• Familiarity with TitanDB, Zoho, and Zoho Office Suite

• Experience with Quickbooks Online

• Strong stakeholder communication and engagement skills

• Ability to work with project managers effectively
