Robert Half is Hiring an Assistant Controller Near Detroit, MI
The Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
- Complete and support the financial statement close on a month-end, quarter-end, and year-end basis.
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations/analyses for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Oversee some treasury functions to ensure timely payment of vendors and maintain accuracy of cash forecasts.
- Provide oversight and training for 2 Accounts Payable direct reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and reconciliations.
- Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to participating in system improvements, impromptu analyses, and special projects as assigned
- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)
- SAP experience desired
- Ceridian experience desired
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
