Litigation Associate

Established boutique law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of experience to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a key role in handling complex disputes for their diverse and valued clients across a wide range of industries.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, discovery, motion practice, and trial.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Conduct legal interviews and depositions.
• Assist with discovery, including preparing and responding to interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and requests for admissions.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and trial.
• Attend court appearances and hearings.
• Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution.
• Stay current on developments in commercial litigation law.
• Work collaboratively with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• 2 years of experience in litigation practice.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
• Experience with e-discovery and legal technology a plus.
• Bar admission in California required.
